Steph awoke sitting back at the game table. The lack of toned body and muscled arms told her that she was back to being human before she even looked down to confirm it. Sitting behind the GM screen was Ty, or what had once been Ty. While it was still recognizable as her friend, there were notable differences. The very obvious breasts pushing out of his shirt, and the glowing golden eyes being the main ones she could see.
"I'm guessing you're not really Ty," Steph said. The thing with the form of her friend inclined their head
"Correct," The voice was also female, though with little emotion in it "I am the Game of Change, or the adjudicator of it, at least. You are here, as, as sometimes happens in these scenarios, something has occurred where the possibilities and branching paths are too varied to predict. In such cases, we like to give the one most affected agency over the path taken."
"I'm guessing this is related to the unbirthing?" Steph asked
"And the twinning wild magic effect," the game confirmed.
"Twinning effect?" Steph asked, confused. The Game nodded.
"Both of your friends have a version of you growing inside you right now. The game is frozen right now, but once you have made your choices, time will resume, and you shall be reborn."
"Ok, what needs to be decided?" Steph asked
Her character sheet appeared in-front of her.
"Your chosen race was Orc," the game's voice explained "However, your new form or forms will be a mix of all that were involved in your creation: werecat, human, elf, giant and orc. How much each has an influence will be up to you."
"Forms?" Steph asked
The Game nodded "When your consciousness returns to the game, assuming you do not make a choice to prevent it, your consciousness will be split between your two bodies. If you choose to remain in one body, one of your two bodies will be stillborn."
"No," Steph said, immediately "I don't want either baby to be stillborn."
"Very well," the game said, and a second character sheet appeared beside the first, and boxes for each of the five races appeared on each sheet "Put a percentage in each of these boxes, depending on how much of each race you'd like to keep."
