Agent Dexter wasn't exactly sure what Agent Dwyer wanted him to do. It would take hours before the FBI squad could be there. He had left them searching the school and Juan's house. He decided that getting a local search team together would be the fastest option. Consquently he asked the police officer to collect all available officers for a search of the area. Though he did call the searchers back in Heathrow and told them to get to Jacksonville. He wasn't going to take the girl back to Heathrow. That would leave Agent Cheryl on her own. The girl wasn't really just 16 she could surely stay out of trouble. One of his juniors could look after her once they arrived.
"So what are we looking for?" the policeman quite rightly asked.
Agent Dexter had met Nikola "Nikola Fedorov, this girl's father. About 40 years old, 6'2, blonde with a Russian accent" Unlike Agent Dwyer, he had not deduced that Fedorov was now also likely a teenage girl. "I'll get someone to email up a recent picture"
He immediately rang Agent Bradbury and asked her to scan and send a recent photo of Nikola.
While he waited for the picture he began to search the car. For all he knew the medallion could be in the glovebox. He trusted Kurt to stay where she was.
But Kurt was hot standing out in the Florida sun with no hat. She had moved across to a sheltered bus stop nearby. She took a seat and a moment to check the items the security guard had passed to her, that she had stashed in the handbag. The roll of notes were $100 bills. She took three of them from the roll and put them in her own wallet. The wallet itself belonged to someone called Nikola Fedorov. His ID photo matched that of the man who had been in her hospital room when she had woken. Was he Ruby's stepfather or was that another lie? However clearly this man was the key to finding the medallion and getting her own body back. She decided not to tell the FBI Agent what she had.
Meanwhile she was hungry and needed to visit the toilet.

Agent Dwyer arrived at the Police station to find the girl long gone. But the lawyer who she had left with was well known "He has connections to the underworld. The Russians in particular. They run the nightclubs in town" Cheryl was given an address where the man had an office. She rang the number she was given for him but could only leave a message saying she was Agent Dwyer from the FBI and wanted to speak to him.
She went to the office but found it closed up. The neighboring shops had not reported seeing the man that day. It seemed like he was only at his office 1 or 2 mornings a week.

Alexei got his team together and told them they were looking for a petty thief who had broken into a blue Porche near the hospital. They were to get the word spread around town that all would be forgiven if the briefcase stolen from the vehicle was handed into to the Russians. Quickly his men dispersed. He went with one of his men (Not Vlad) to the hospital to find out what had happened to Nikola's car. He knew some homeless people lived in a park near the hospital. He would personally make a visit to them on the way. Once in his car he rang Marco and reported on progress. He was pleased to find out Marco was only 20 minutes away.
