Pain woke Sorhafe from her slumber, and she screamed. She looked down at her swollen belly, knowing almost instinctively what was happening.
“Erica, wake up! I think I’m going into labour,” she said
Erica (now human again, though still Sorhafe’s size) sat up quickly, but grunted as the discomfort of her own pregnancy made it difficult.
“What do you need?” Erica asked
“I don’t know,” Sorhafe breathed in and out, as her pregnancy progressed “Just sit where the baby should come out and catch it, I guess?”
With no better options, Erica did as asked and with little experience, they fumbled their way through delivering the baby. It was a strange mix of human, elf, giant and cat. With tiny claws, pointed ears and despite having just been born, having long hair and bright eyes. The “baby” was the size of a human pre-teen. Surprisingly, the baby didn’t cry, but babbled. It was hard to tell, but the baby seemed distressed, as if she was trying to tell them something.
After a few hours of rest, Erica felt a similar pain, indicating she was also going into labour. Sorhafe helped her deliver the baby, which was the identical twin to the baby that Sorhafe had birthed.
