Jenna realized she would need to test the app again, just to make sure it worked. She stood off to the side in the store, and loaded a new sentence onto the app once again.
"This establishment sells shoes mainly to women."
"Okay, let's try this..." Jenna murmured as she changed women to families. She hit enter, and then looked up at the store. To her surprise, once again, nothing had happened!
The store was still big, with multicolored shelves filled with shoes of all types and sizes. From sneakers to boots, and flip flops to high heels. They had shoes for kids, shoes for parents, anything you'd want.
At the counter was the owner, sitting behind the counter. She was Mandy, Jenna's newest acquaintance. She ruffled her curly hair while she scolded her daughter. Her daughter, Tanya, sadly played with her braids while she listened meekly. She was wearing the uniform, but it looked like she had altered it to become a crop top, likely the cause of Mandy's scolding.
Nearby was a father, a mother, and their small girl, happily browsing for shoes. In the aisle over, there were two Asian girls also browsing through the heels, happily chatting away with one another.
Jenna sighed. She was worried, because clearly SOMETHING wasn't right with the app. It was working before, so why not now? However, her thoughts were interrupted. There was a small tug on her dress. She glanced down and smiled upon seeing that it was her daughter, Catherine.
She had caramel skin, just like her father, and curly black hair like him as well. She was 10, was wearing her favorite pink dress and her old, worn down shows. That was why she was here to begin with... so, why was it surprising to her? Before she could think deeper on her doubts, she was once more interrupted by her husband, Raoul.
"Jenna, are you okay mi amor?" Raoul asked, seemingly confused at his wife's behavior.
"Oh, yes baby... I just got distracted by something. Come now Catherine, let's get you some new shoes!"
"Yay!" Catherine called out, grabbing hold of her mother's free hand.
Before that single word had been altered, Raoul was a single, down on his luck man. However, to make Jenna fit with the family aesthetic, she needed at least a hubby. And so, reality itself changed in an instant. On a day years ago when Raoul should've just had a boring college afternoon, he ran into the love of his life.
Jenna was now 10 years older, gaining some curves and some wrinkles, while Catherine got to exist. Despite having only been created a few minutes ago, this girl was now happily browsing through the young girl section, dragging her father excitedly along. Meanwhile, Jenna's mind drifted towards the app.
"Why isn't it working?" She thought to herself as she sat upon a nearby bench, her large thighs stretching across it as her fat ass rested. She figured she shouldn't have worn heels as she rubbed her back. "Maybe... maybe I should show Raoul? Ah, but what would he think! Oh goodness, and those poor people I changed. I thought it'd be okay since I could always fix it... but what if I can't?!"
Her mind raced, and she pulled up a new sentence.
"This thick woman is sitting in a shoe store."
"Thick!" She thought, slightly offended by the app's choice words. "Ugh, let me just try something...." She muttered aloud.
