"How complete is this transformation?" Ty asked, as she twirled a lock of her hair around her finger, while prodding at her now-pointed ear with her other hand.
"I won't know for certain until we can do a magical synergy test," Elenara said "But looks pretty complete to me. You even seem to be adopting my mannerisms."
"What do you mean?" Ty asked
"Well, I assume you don't sit with your legs together like that usually," she pointed out the fact Ty was sitting upright with his legs pressed together "Women do that to avoid people looking up their skirts. I also tend to twirl my hair around my finger when I'm nervous, which I'm guessing you don't do, either, since you had much shorter hair when we picked you up."
Ty immediately stopped twirling his hair around his finger. Elenara giggled.
"You don't need to stop. In-fact, you'll probably find yourself doing it subconsciously," she said "Your thoughts and memories still seem to be your own, which is a relief. I don't want the drama of having to convince you you're not the real Elenara."
"That can happen?" Ty asked, still not used to his new voice, though he realized his accent had also shifted to mimic Elenara's
"Oh yes," said Elenara "We had a duplication plague a few years ago, which turned everyone in one of our cities into exact replicas of one of the Transformation Sorceress's main generals. Was a nightmare to quarantine and cure. Luckily, it didn't go outside of that city, since each copy wanted to be in charge, so they ended up fighting each other for dominance. So thank your fortune that you didn't get afflicted by something like that."
