"No, no, god damn it, no!" Jason said aloud to himself grasping his head.
"Hey, Jay, everything alright with you?" Sally said wrapping her arms around him.
"No, Sally! It's not, I don't just have the same last name as your dad, I am your dad." Jason said finally confessing to her.
"What? No, no, no. Jay come on, don't fuck with me like this." Sally said getting angry.
"We did fuck Sally, last night. You and me and I am your father." Jason said.
"No you're not, you're Jay...uh....Jay....?" Sally said trying to remember if she had ever heard his last name.
"Stralls, Sally. Jason Stralls, my name. Your name too." Jason admitted. Sally began huffing and puffing very loudly as she grew angry and then began shouting at Jason.
"You...You liar! You're name is not Jason Stralls, it's Jay. We met at the dance club last night, danced, and....I had the greatest time of my life with you last night! You weren't my father, and you weren't my brother, no, you were Jay. A stranger who I fell in love with!" Sally shouted.
"Yeah, well I fell in love with you too! But I was too drunk to even know who you were last night. I was having a great time with another woman and just happened to bump into you. In all my drunkenness I just thought you looked cute, asked you to come back to my room, which I guess is our room now and...this happens."
Sally thought for a minute, and then an idea struck her.
"But it doesn't have to be like this. The brochure I read said if we were at the same age, we could either be siblings or friends. So let's just pretend we're not father and daughter, or even brother and sister. We're friends who came to this resort and....had our first night together." Sally blushed.
"But Sally, we'd lose memories of who we really are."
"I know, but it's better than the truth. Now just hold my hands and we'll rewrite our minds. The brochure said we could also do that." Sally said.
"Alright, but maybe I will call myself Jay from now on, I like it better." Jason or Jay admitted.
They both concentrated on the time they had spent together imagining themselves as a couple and not related. Jay now remembered that had surprised Sally with a trip here, they had just gotten over some bad breakups and Jay wanted to cheer his friend up. Sally had always liked Jay, but he had dated a few other women before, she had hoped this trip would make her confess her feelings for him and the previous night, she had finally come out and admitted she had loved him for a very long time, she had just been afraid to admit it to him. Opening their eyes once again, they saw each other now as 21 year-old friends.
"Jay, that was probably the best night of my life." Sally admitted.
"I know it probably was Sally. So....what do you want to do now that we've 'officially' become a couple?" Jay asked his new girlfriend.
