While Ty struggled into the second set of clothes he had been given by the princess, Elanara carefully pulled the arrow out of her carriage driver. With Ty in the carriage, Elanara allowed a few tears to fall, as she cast the spell which would store and preserve the body of the carriage driver that had transported her for most of her life. The body was stored in an extradimensional storage space attached to a bracelet on her wrist. With the body stored, she moved up to the horses, which were getting increasingly skittish with the activity. She was surprised they hadn't bolted already, until she saw the two arrows in their back legs. She began talking to them in a soft voice, and they began to calm, before she pulled the arrow out of the left one, before casting a spell on them, healing the wound left behind before the horse could feel too much pain. She moved onto the second horse, doing the same thing. Both horses neighed gratefully. She sighed. Her carriage driver had been born with the gift to understand the speech of animals, but she could not claim a similar gift. She would have to work with what she had.
