While there had been a recent surge in anti-LGBT+ attitudes due to recent events, Pride Month was still going on, especially in Animalia and its colonies. In fact, there were some people on the internet claiming that Animalia was becoming "one of the most progressive countries in the world", though some would argue that Animalia wouldn't really qualify as a country.
Of course, June was also when LGBT+ couples started getting conversions for reduced costs, as well as hermaphroditic conversions for half price, though nobody really knew where hermaphroditism fit on the LGBT+ spectrum. There were also a few announcements that were focused on the LGBT+ community. The biggest example of this was Sappho and Susan's announcement of the ROSE (Rho Omicron Sigma Epsilon) house as a lesbian counterpart to BARA houses, since bara was technically the Japanese word for rose.
Though Sappho and Susan were already making waves on the internet due to their confirmed status of being pregnant. Of course, this was generating a lot of confusion due to not many people knowing or understanding how parthenogenesis works.

There were other things going on due to both Furfest 2023 and the 2023 IAC, but relatively few of them were tied to LGBT+ in any (obvious) ways. The biggest thing was the Herm Exposition (which seemed to leave both straight and LGBT+ confused), and the second biggest thing was the match between Ela Sha and Molly, mainly because of Molly's confirmed status as a lesbian.

Because homosexuality is considered an essential part of the furry fandom, there were plans to do a few more "conversion orgies" after the overall success of the first one. The first dose was administered to the participants via dermal patch, and after one or two aphrodisiac gummies for each participant, they were allowed to double dose themselves. While details remained fuzzy due to phones being "confiscated" to prevent being damaged, the party was declared to be a resounding success, even more so due to the party room being easy to clean up afterwards.
