Just as they enter the living room, “Milo” suddenly “remembers” something, his master hasn’t gotten around to chip and register him! “Milo” looks at his master, who has his back turned to him, he is about to ask his master to finally chip and register him, but then a thought pops into his mind, ‘wait… I’m a human now,’ he thinks to himself, ‘I could do it myself, then master wouldn’t need to do it. I know that master’s dad is a vet, luckily his dad’s clinic is attached to this house, all I need to do is head to the basement where it is located’. The “puppy” puts his plate down, he then turns to his master, “master? I need to pee,” he says.
Ethan turns around, “want me to let you outside?”
“Milo” shakes his head and chuckles, “master, I’m a human now! I know how to use the human toilette!”
Ethan chuckles, ‘this is so much fun,’ he thinks to himself, ‘Jeff really thinks he has been a puppy and that I have transformed him into a copy of himself’. The boy smiles, “okay, Milo,” he says, “want us to wait with the movie until you return?”
“Milo” shakes his head, “no need,” he says, “I won’t be long”. “Milo” exits the living room and heads down to the basement, he soon arrives in the vet’s office and heads straight towards a small cabinet on the wall. He opens the doors and rummages through the stuff until he finds what he is looking for: a syringe that contains the chip!
Smiling to himself, “Milo” takes the syringe out of it’s package, “okay, I know that we dogs always get chipped between the shoulder blades,” so, he reaches back with the hand he’s holding the syringe, and with the help of a small mirror on the wall, manages to aim it directly between his shoulder blades. “Milo” takes a deep breath, “here goes nothing,” he says, and pushes the needle into his skin, wincing a little from the pain, he then pushes down on the syringe and injects the chip into his body.
After he injected the chip, “Milo” throws the empty syringe into a trash can, “now, I need to scan it and use the vet’s computer to register myself in the international dog database,” he says. “Milo” soon finds the scanner, and powers up the computer, luckily it is not password protected, he then opens the program, which is the international dog register, and starts to type:
Name: Milo
Race: dog
Breed: Beligian Malinois Shepherd
Age: 4 months
Owner: Ethan Turner
Chipnumber: 968146042209574
“Milo” then saves the registration and powers the computer down, the “dog” smiles and “wags” his butt happily, he is about to leave, when a thought pops into his mind, “I also need the vaccination! Better do that too, then everything will be how it should be, and master won’t need to worry about it,” he says. “Milo” walks back to the cabinet and takes out the vaccination, he the injects it in to his shoulder, wincing once again, and throws the empty syringe into the trash can. Finally satisfied, he heads back upstairs to join his young masters.
When “Milo” enters the living room, he notices that Ethan is sitting on the carpet, but the boy’s position is wrong: his legs are stretched out in front of him, instead of positioned next to his body, with his hands between his legs. “Milo” lets out a sigh and shakes his head, ‘I see, I have a lot to teach him,’ he thinks to himself, ‘better start sooner than later, or he’ll never learn about how dogs behave!’
