"You're sure you want this?" the queen asked. Elenara nodded, then she turned to Ty.
"Yes, Your Highness," Ty said
"Very well. I will make arrangements after we have cleared you of any influences the curse might have on you," The queen said "You seem sincere, but I wouldn't want you to make a decision while your mind is under the influence of something that might impact your decisions. Elenara show our guest to the quarters next to yours. She can live there until such time that she is able to make a decision not influenced by magic."
Elenara led Ty from the room.
"I forgot to ask, what would you like to be called?" Elenara asked "Ty is technically a gender neutral name by human standards, but you don't appear human, and my people don't tend to shorten our names except with close family or friends. Would you be opposed to me choosing a more appropriate name for you?"
"I would not mind," said Ty "As long as you're willing to call me Ty when we're alone, at least."
Elenara nodded, then thought for a moment "How does Tymora sound? It means The Changing of Tides."
"Tymora sounds lovely," Tymora said, curtsying to the princess
"Oh, um, you don't need to do that," Elenara said, her cheeks colouring a little "I hope we can become family, after all. It would be hard to be social if you were so formal all the time. Anyway, here are your rooms."
She opened the door to reveal a lavish living room, with attached bedroom and bathroom, as well as a closed door.
Elenara pointed to the door. "That one leads to my room if you need me. For now, I think we've both had a long day. Is it alright if I leave you to get settled?"
"That's fine," Tymora said "I could use a little time to process what happened today."
