“So this is the famous resort huh?” 13 year old Mavis pondered to her mother Claire as she exited their taxi while the driver helped Claire get the luggage out. “Really need to thank Mr Johnson for giving us this” Claire responded. “Now either myself or a college will be here in 3 weeks for you then” the driver then assured as he returned to his seat. “Thank you” Claire and Mavis as the car left.
A few moments later as the mother and daughter walked through the main lobby that was actually a central single-floor building dead-centre within the paths to six more hotel-design buildings. Watching as guests came back and forth between the areas. “Ah, can I help you ladies?” this receptionist asked once the two were at the main desk. “Claire and Mavis Takeba. We have a reservation via a branch of Aviation Longtistics” Claire answered.
“That so...?” the receptionist pondered while looking at the two while checking her computer files and found said booking “Ah yes we do have a single mother and child reservation with said company. Only, well...” she continued as by what she was seeing only Mavis matched the family name with her Japanese features even with her western boyish fashion of baggy green long-shorts with matching trainers under a red sleeveless hoodie and messy shin-length raven hair but Claire herself was clearly Caucasian wearing a blue top with beige trousers and black slip on shoes and neatly combed shoulder-length red hair. “Oh sorry. Takeba is my married name” Claire noticed and apologized to the receptionist’s looks. “Ah that explains it” the receptionist accepted with relief.
“So why are their six buildings?” Mavis then asked “Aren’t their meant to be 3 wings based on themes?”. “Oh we’ve have a massive update last year that resulted in doubling both space and selecting” the receptionist happily answered “We now have three mixed wings. The original three that solely focus on a single theme and now three new mixed wings that combine the building themes they are built between” then turns slightly serious “Be aware that said mixed wings are more costly but I doubt being your stay is mostly on a company’s holiday expense”. “Ah I see” Mavis accepted.
“Actually I already knew as my boss Mr Johnson told me” Claire confessed “And we worked together to setup the wing we’ll be in”. “Kept it secret from your daughter huh?” the receptionist noted in wonder “Still not my place to question such decisions”. “Was really a surprise until we got close” Mavis confessed “But a real happy one!”. “Also be aware even with the Age Wing’s effects those really under legal adult age must share with their parents or legal guardians” the receptionist then reminded the two:
