William slowly opened his eyes, adjusting them to the light right about him. He looked to the window and saw the morning sun. This had to be the earliest he’d woken up in months… at least in this body. He could hear two voices behind him, talking. They sounded positive. His first thought was that Lila’s fiancé had arrived home, so he sleepily planned to introduce himself.
As he turned around, he was instead greeted by a familiar face,
“Morning, Master Willaim,” Alicia said, handing him a cup of tea,
“O-oh…” William groaned, “sorry I didn’t come find you last night,” he said, rubbing his eyes as he set the cup down on the coffee table in front of him,
“It’s quite alright, I chose to give the night to the two of you,” she smiled, “and I know you’re not much of a fan of tea,”
“No… but I guess everything you make I’ll like, right?”
“I hope so,” she smiled… sincerely.
William reached over, grabbing the cup and lifting it to his lips. He sipped, and found that it was actually really nice! He’d never been a fan of tea, but this specific type was almost exactly perfect,
“Wow!” He said, “it’s amazing, thank you so much!” He said, smiling. He went to place it back down on the coffee table before Lila swooped in and pushed a coaster underneath his cup,
“It’s a new table!” She said, scoffing at him. William apologised, placing the cup down on the coaster,
“So what are we planning to do?” William asked,
“We’re not sure,” Lila said, “me and Alicia were just discussing how to phrase it. Not sure all the tiniest details,”
“The set wording is, ‘I wish William and I return to our old bodies, back in 2013, just before William makes the wish to change the worlds anatomy with the same memories and we remember everything that happened. The world we are in currently will continue and the versions of ourselves will not remember any of this, just live the rest of their lives as they were.’” Alicia finished, “any thoughts?” She asked,
“Wait, why are you making the wish?” William asked,
“Well I mean…” she looked to Alicia, she didn’t seem to think there was anything wrong with it, “I mean you can make it, just means you lose your wish for the day,”
“Not necessarily,” Alicia interrupted, “we do have one final issue,” she stated. She reached into the bag beside her and pulled out the fairy far, “one of you needs to wish her back to normal,”
“I’m happy to,” Lila said, “we don’t get wishes when we return, that’s fine. We’ll just use them the day after, right?”
“Yeah that’s cool,” William said, taking another sip of his tea, “when are we gonna make te wish then?” He asked,
“Uhm… I wouldn’t mind eating first,” Lila suggested, “make the most of being here… I kinda like being pregnant, y’know,” Lila said,
“I’m sure you’ll be pregnant again in the future,” Lila smiled,
“Yeah… just maybe not like this,” she replied a little sadly,
“You could always wish you were pregnant?” William suggested, everyones eyes were on him, “o-or like… just that you looked pregnant, or something,”
“I could do that… that’s not a bad idea,” Lila said, “why don’t we have a day when we get back to wish we looked like totally different people. Sexy people!”
The three sat around, talking. Lila and William spoke and occasionally asked Alicia a question, she’d reply with the exact answer, but even when they’d ask her a very human question, she’d do her best to reply. It was sweet. In their own little way, they felt like a family.

After lunch, Lila, William, Alicia and the jar stood around, they looked at each other,
“Not really sure how to feel,” Lila said, “maybe I should say goodbye,” she chuckled,
“Hey,” William said, placing his hand on her shoulder, “just remember that at the end of this, there’s still version of both of us living the rest of these lives,”
“Right…” Lila said, “and I get to choose where the rest of my life goes. She gets to live here…”
“In an already pretty changed world,” William smiled,
“Let’s go change the world we came from!” She said, cheerfully,
“So you two are ready?” Alicia asked,
“Yes!” The two of them said in sync,
“Alright William, make your wish,” Alicia said,
“Okay…” he felt the pressure, “I wish that this world, the one we’re in right now, continues. The versions of us will live the rest of their lives without remembering anything that’s happened with the wishes and stuff, just live normal lives. And us, myself, Lila, Alicia… and the fairy; we’ll return back to 2013 just before I made the wish to… uhm… change the anatomy of the world. We’ll go back in each others bodies and start off right before I made the wish, and we’ll remember everything… but just us. Right?” He said,
“Nice!” Lila said. The two smiled at each other, but as the world began to feel as if it was spinning, William caught Alicia’s eyes… it was that look. The look of worry.
