Lucas decided to follow the fox trail, leading him through the vast expanse of the icy tundra. As he ventured deeper into the frozen wilderness, the tracks grew more distinct, ultimately leading him toward a sight that he would least expect, not just here, but pretty much anywhere in the world.
Amidst the snow-covered landscape, a metallic structure emerged from the frozen ground. Lucas's eyes widened in disbelief as he realized that this was a spaceship, nestled within this desolate terrain. Its sleek and futuristic design stood in stark contrast to its frozen surroundings. Realizing this could be what gets him help, he approaches the spaceship, carefully walking through the entrance hatch. The interior was dimly lit, filled with an array of technology and supplies that were out of this world. It seemed deserted, devoid of any human presence.
Hoping to find provisions for his own survival and potentially a way back home, Lucas scoured the spaceship for essential supplies. He located a storage compartment lined with food rations, water, and thermal clothing, carefully gathering them into his backpack. As he moved deeper into the spacecraft, the doors suddenly closed, casting total darkness around him
The lights of the spacecraft flickered to life, illuminating the interior with an otherworldly glow. It began to ascend, slowly at first, then picking up speed as it embarked on its journey toward the enigmatic dwarf planet, Pluto. Inside the spacecraft, the anthropomorphic Arctic vixen, the pilot of the vessel, received an alert about an intruder on board. Her sharp senses heightened, she swiftly made her way to the source of the disturbance. The vixen's fur bristled as she confronted Lucas, who appeared both bewildered and apprehensive. She scanned him with advanced technology, the results indicating that he posed no threat. Activating a translator, the vixen spoke, her voice laced with curiosity and caution, with her vulpine features expressing these emotions, "What brought you onto my ship?".
Startled by the unexpected encounter, Lucas stammered, "I... I'm Lucas. I got lost in this wilderness, and I stumbled upon your spaceship. I... Was looking for supplies and a way back home from this frozen goddamn nightmare."
The vixen tilted her head, her cobalt blue eyes stared towards the human. "It appears you come to the wrong place. I can't turn this ship back to your home planet, as it is set on course for my home."
Lucas' heart sank, realizing he was en route to an unfamiliar world as questions began to swirl in his mind. "What is it called?"
"I live on what your inhabitants refer to as Pluto, or as we call it "Tuoni" she replied.
"Isn't that a bit small for human life? How would there be Fox people on Pluto, sorry Tuoni?" Lucas continues to ask.
"It isn't inhabitable for your kind, but for mine, it suits us well. Our ancestors originated from Terra, or what you would call “Earth”, but we were.. uplifted, by a higher being, and given Tuoni as our home." The vixen answers.
Lucas's mind raced with a combination of hopelessness and confusion. He had unknowingly become an accidental stowaway in an alien spaceship, en route to a planet where he was unable to survive in his current form.
"Is there some way I can survive on Tuoni? Like some kind of space suit? Sorry for not mentioning my name earlier, I'm Lucas."
"Lucas, I am Lumina" the vixen adds, "Space suits will not help you all too much, but I have something that will help you survive on Tuoni." Lumina pulls out a tube of sea green serum and hands it to Lucas. " It will make you into one of our kind, and you will be able to survive on Tuoni. "
Lucas opened the tube and drank the serum, as he slowly felt his body beginning to change as the serum pulsed through his vein…
