"It's cold up here" Anna shivered following her friend deeper into the forest, unlike the one back home this one had more of an uphill slope so she had to watch each and every step to keep from slipping, while Kaida seemed to have no problem using her paws to dig into the rocky earth and keep her own furry body steady. "The Doctor also told us to stay by the campsite."
"We wont be long." Kaida called out, the trees clearing to create an outcropping that revealed the mountain range city sparkling below them, every breath they took was a puff of smoke, and above them was a blanket of stars far more beautiful than anything either had seen in their lives. "Woah." She breathed.
"Its beautiful." Anna gasped through chattering teeth, holding her arms across her chest for warmth.
"Why didn't you change when the moon came out?" Kaida cocked her head, pulling her friend close in a furry embrace.
Anna looked away embarrassed, she bit her lip and pressed her body even closer to her friend's warm fur. "I've had trouble ever since that first night, I thought it was because I was a delta but then we got omega's and then they changed, and so maybe it's because I am just not supposed to be a wolf like the rest of you." A few tears rolled down her eyes that she quickly tried to wipe away and hide from Kaida.
"Close your eyes." Kaida frowned, stroking her friend's hair with a paw. "Just close your eyes and think of the wolf inside you, think of me, think of my fur, my paws." She whispered and leaned in and licked her friend's left ear. Like a paint brush with each lick it began to lengthen and move, grow fur and taper to a point. When she was finished she moved to the right one, and then onward to her cheeks and nose. At first Anna giggled and squirmed but then seemed to settle into a trance like state.
Soon the licks were not even needed, the fur seemed to flow where the licks stopped, cascading from her neck downward to her chest and below, when she licked down her arms, the fur quickly trailed down her hand to her fingers, reshaped to paws. "It's not going to work." Anna opened her golden eyes only to gasp in shock, her paws touching the muzzle infront of her eyes. Tears quickly filled her eyes, staining her furry cheeks. "How did you do it?!"
"I'm a Super Hero Artist!" Kaida grinned from pointed ear to pointed ear. "I just pretended I was painting you."
Anna embraced Kaida, digging her claws into Kaida's fur, pressing her flat chest against Kaida's small breasts, she could feel her heart beat, her warmth, when she looked up into the eyes of her beta she could see her own reflected back at her. More than that, she could see her wolf form reflected back at her. She paused and then ever so softly closed her own golden eyes and leaned in, pressing her muzzle against Kaida's, she didn't have much in the way of lips, so she used her tongue to gently rub against the surface between the space of their two muzzles, and across her fangs. A second later Kaida began to reciprocate the awkward first wolven kiss.
Every inch of their fur stood on it's end, electricity flowed through their bodies, and when they broke the kiss, Anna lifted her head into the air to howl, a howl that Kaida soon echoed.
