"Good fucking lord! When will this stupid fucking forest end?" I've been walking for hours underneath this warm and humid weather, and I haven't seen a sign of civilization. This creature in the sky sought entertainment, and he had me struggle for hours in this godforsaken forest? "Is this entertainment enough for you?"
I raised my arms in defiance and flashed him an erect middle finger. I hoped he'd smite me or something to end this struggle, but the silence annoyed me more.
I walked for hours, climbing hills and boulders and looking for signs of flowing water. All I had was my sweat-drenched clothes and a smartphone that couldn't turn on despite charging it to full a day prior. None of these things could help me. And they were equally useless when three men grabbed me with ropes and dangled me on a sturdy tree branch.
"Lookie here! We got ourselves something good," The smallest of my captors said to the others beside him. He climbed on my body and grabbed the smartphone in my pocket. "What's this thing? Have you seen something like this, Mikiah?"
The tallest and thinnest grabbed my smartphone and inspected it with dull eyes. "Something magical, I think, Laios?"
The middle one with a black mask bonked Mikiah with his staff. "You don't know any magic, fool. How'd you know if it was magical?"
"Sorry, Jacob. But it looks magical to me," Mikiah replied.
"Enough about that thing," Jacob said. "Does he have anything worthwhile, Laios?"
"Nothing, boss. Just sweaty clothes and that thing Mikiah is holding." Laios dropped from my body and joined Mikiah in inspecting my smartphone.
"Let me go, asshole! If you're going to rob someone, rob someone else!" I screamed at him. I attempted to spit at Jacob, but the guy dodged with ease. Although, I did hit Mikiah on his chest. "Let me go!"
"And why would we do that? We're not as stupid as you who think they could travel the Jurah Forest without a flint or weapon. You'd probably still have a value when we sell you as a slave."
