Pazuzu sulked in his grandmother's palace suite. The 15-year-old demon was bored out of his mind holed up in here with his mother Hecate and his grandmother Lilith. And why? Just because someone stole his sire Lamashtu's stupid harem! Why was this being treated like such a big deal?
Honestly, Pazuzu felt like he should thank the kidnappers. He was sick of his sire dividing her attention between his mother and some hot pieces of ex-human ass. Sometimes he'd even sneak after Lamashtu when she went up to Earth to add to the harem, and he'd scare off any humans Lamashtu tried to lure into alleys or abandoned buildings for kidnapping. Sometimes he'd be joined in these escapades by his angel friend Abrielle Morningstar, who didn't approve of bride-stealing any more than he did (and who also just happened to be his first cousin once removed).
Pazuzu wandered into a separate room in the suite from the rest of his family. His eyes landed on a window... and an idea came to him. Pazuzu had always been a very strong flyer. He'd inherited the vulture wings and bird talons of his sire, and his otherwise human head had a wild jumble of feathers for hair. Pazuzu was very nearly a bird, and he knew it. Here was a way to escape this brain-melting tedium! He forced the window open, gave his vulture wings an experimental flap, and flew out the window.
Pazuzu smirked as he landed in his grandfather Lucifer's garden. Looking around, he saw that he was quite alone. The demon boy flew up to the branches of a tree and plucked a juicy fruit for himself. He bit into it, savoring his regained freedom.
At that moment, a portal opened up. A cobra-headed demon with a barbed tail leaped out and grabbed him. A squid-like demon with a tentacle beard followed her into the garden. Both wore the robes of court sorcerers.
"Look what we've found here, Qessssssem," the cobra-headed demon hissed gloatingly. "A young princcccccce of Hell all alone, nobody to protect him from ussssss."
"He will make a fine thrall, Heka," the tentacle-bearded demon grinned. "Take him."
The two sorcerers dragged Pazuzu through the portal. The young Morningstar found himself in a dark cavern. He had no idea where in Hell (if it even was Hell) the cavern was, just that it was a cavern. The only light came from a glowing rune circle and a few sparse torches. The souls of Iron Knights filled the cave, some walking around freely, some locked up in cages. Pazuzu gasped when several of his sire's hated slave-wives grabbed him and yanked him toward the mystic circle. Of course THOSE bitches were plotting against him. And yet... there seemed to be something wrong with them. Their eyes were featureless pools of pure blackness, too black to even be darkness. The concubines seemed almost robotic as they moved. Were they possessed?
The slave-wives roughly shoved Prince Pazuzu at the magic circle. To Pazuzu's horror, his Uncle Loki took hold of him and began binding him to the circle! Loki had the same dead, inky eyes as the slave-wives. The enslaved Morningstar began driving metal stakes through his nephew's hands and feet to hold him in place.
"Uncle Loki, what are you doing?!" Pazuzu screamed in terror as his blood stained the cavern floor. His uncle said nothing.
The demon called Heka approached Pazuzu and stripped him naked before anointing his nude body with blasphemous sigils. "You will be a vessssssel for a mighty sssssspirit of Chaosssssss," she grinned evilly.
Pazuzu closed his eyes shut tight as Heka and Qesem began chanting in a dreadful language, tears of fright and regret running down his face. Why couldn't he have just stayed with his mother and his grandmother? They could have defended him from this. A searing pain then filled Pazuzu just before his mind fell into a nightmare-filled slumber. Moments later, a Chaos spirit fully took control of its new thrall. Pazuzu's body was no longer his own.
