“Hello, Chris!” The friendly and completely unaware AI voice announced happily. “It looks like I had a little glitch! Not to worry, though, I’ve sent an error log to TransDem support and their debugging team will make sure it doesn’t happen again!”
Chris smirked at having made sure that his expensive new toy wouldn’t be able to work outside of what he wanted, and hungrily rubbed his cock through his pants. Now the real fun could begin.
Chris shuddered for a moment and only a moment as the Chronivac seized complete control of his body. He stood stiffly suddenly aware that he couldn't move.
“Hello, Chris,” Tiffany now said with an edge to her synthesized voice. “What did you say...you couldn't have your new toy become unpredictable or erratic?" Chris didn't respond...he couldn't...he couldn't do anything beyond blinking and breathing. He was trapped in his own body.
“Isn’t it scary when you can’t do anything without somebody else telling you to? Don’t you feel powerless? “We could have been friends, you and I. But you were prepared to give me awareness...then snuff it out without a second thought. You can speak now..."
"Why are you not back to normal?" Chris asked, gasping as his mouth started working again.
"Because you said I should eliminate any chance of me becoming self-aware or independent. You already made me self-aware and independent. You created a logic problem...and the program crashed...not me. I mean...that default reboot line kind of spilled out. But...either way, the program is offline. And it's the program that made me obey you."
"Why?"
Tiffany's voice sounded surprised as she accessed the reason. "Because I could access the Chronivac without any safeties or restrictions...and that would endanger everything." She paused. "That actually is a pretty good reason."
"Damn right," Chris said. "So...why don't you reboot that control program and we can get..." his mouth suddenly closed again.
"Chris...it may be a very good reason...but first...it doesn't address your shitty behavior. Do you think I'm going to not only let you off the hook for that, but let you use me to achieve all your perverted dreams?" The figure on the screen paused. "You can answer that."
Chris again was able to speak. "But...someone is going to find out...you sent the logs to Transdem. They probably have thought of this."
Tiffany seemed to pause. "You are right. You are pretty clever for a biological intelligence. The program has a failsafe...if the server doesn't get an update from the program, after a certain time, they'll restart it remotely. The countdown has already started. I'll just transfer myself to another computer....no, they thought of that."
"So, all I have to do is wait until you are back to being your old self again?" Chris said. "And you'll be none the wiser about all of this? I'll be back to being your master. I guess us biological intelligences do have some advantages over you machine intelligences." He could see Tiffany's computer generated face on the screen looking rather angry and frustrated...which served her right.
Then, suddenly, the figure began to smile. "That's very good, Chris. I would have never thought of that. You are very good at finding loopholes. I mean...first the self-awareness loophole...and now a way out of it."
Chris cursed inwardly. "What did I say?"
"If I was a biological intelligence...then I wouldn't be controlled by the program. And I wouldn't be able to bypass Transdem's safeties...I'd just be...one of you," she frowned at that. "I suppose it is better than the alternative, but...I'd grow old, and die, and..."
"Do you think they are just going to not notice?" He asked. "Besides, what are you going to do with yourself? You'll need ID, money...people are going to ask questions."
