Harold decided to try the fountain of size out, by taking a drink from one of the 2 bowls.
He remembers what the Legend said:
‘Drink from the small bowl, and you will shrink, to smaller and smaller sizes. Drink from the big bowl, and you will grow to gigantic proportions.’
he sat by the fountain, and wondered which bowl he was going to drink from.
Should he drink from the big bowl, he would grow, to enormous gigantic proportions, roughly maybe the size of The Amazing Colossal Man, from the film he'd watched as a kid. Everything around him would seem toy size.
Should he drink from the small bowl, he would shrink, smaller, and smaller, and smaller, to maybe the size of a doll, or a bug, to see how everything would look at a much smaller size. His own house would tower over him, as big as a castle, or a skyscraper.
Then, staring at his clothes, Harold wondered if the water from the Fountain of Size would affect his clothes too. Maybe they could shrink or grow with him, but then again, they could not.
'Only one way to find out.' he mused.
He stood, and stared at the fountain.
