Emily made her way back to the house, groaning when she noticed the pile of paperwork lying on the kitchen counter. She’d been in such a rush to get Erin to daycare she’d totally forgotten the paperwork she’d been intending to drop off. Now she had to drive all the way back downtown to do it. It wasn’t really that far of a drive, but having to go all the way back after just having gotten home was annoying.
Emily’s face lit up as the sounds of a bus rumbling down the street filled her ears. She’d almost forgotten that one of the bus lines ran past her house! She was usually in school by the time the driver started his route, so she hadn’t even considered the possibility, but not having to be behind the wheel felt kind of nice…..
Emily boarded the bus, breathing just a little hard. She’d had to rush from the house out to the bus stop, papers firmly clenched in her hand, in order to make it in time. “Okay, maybe this wasn’t quite as easy as I thought.” She mumbled to herself. Glancing around the bus, she saw it was surprisingly full for the middle of a weekday. “Don’t these people have, like, jobs or something?” She grumbled.
It seemed like the bus had only been traveling for a minute before it was already pulling to a stop again, and Emily heard laughter and loud talking as a group of people boarded. It couldn’t be…..her eyes widened with delight as she saw who it was. Oh, this was going to be fun.
Jessica was one of the people at school Emily liked the least. She was a blonde rich girl who looked down on…everyone, really. Her boyfriend Nick was one of the school’s football players, and almost as arrogant as she was. Emily was on the cheer squad, she’d seen all of their school’s games. Nick was a good player, sure, but he wasn’t anywhere near as good as he seemed to think he was. The other two people with them were Nick’s friend Sam and Sam’s girlfriend Beth, both of whom tended to follow Jessica and Nick’s lead.
All four of them should have been in school, but clearly they’d decided to skip instead. That meant it was the perfect chance to mess with them. Sure, their minds would be changed as well, but that didn’t mean Emily wouldn’t have the chance to have fun. She took careful aim….

Nikki sighed as she shifted in her seat, cradling her son Jake in her arms as her daughter Beth sat next to her on her seat. She was getting very tired of being pregnant, she thought. She was only in her mid twenties, and this was already going to be her third kid. She loved Jake and Beth dearly, but she thought she would go crazy if her husband kept knocking her up practically every time they had sex. It was—

Samantha adjusted her skimpy skirt for what seemed like the fifth time since she’d gotten on the bus. If she’d known what a perve her boss was she might not have taken the secretary position at this company. At least she had been assigned a later shift today. The blond businessman sitting next to her kept looking down her top though, and Samantha was almost ready to tell him off about it. There were two other guys sitting next to him, both talking about, like, comics or something. Boring—-

Jessica loved being a Hooters waitress. Walking around all day, flirting with guys all she wanted, getting all those tips? She was, like, born for it! She was just glad that she’d talked her bestie Nikki into signing up for the job with her. Not that Nikki cared right now; she was cuddled up in the arms of her Latino boyfriend on the next seat. Sam, she thought his name was? There was an African American guy sitting next to Sam too, but he’d been fixated on his phone the whole time. He’d barely said two words.

Beth knew those guys were looking at her. Why wouldn’t they? She was in her cheerleading uniform, after all, and she knew she totally filled it out great. Even better, her twin sister, Sammi, was there too. She didn’t like having to be co-captains, but Sammi was just so perky. It was like she was born to be a cheerleader. Beth rolled her eyes as one of the two boys—the Asian one—snuck another glance. He blushed and looked away, embarrassed. Beth sighed. “Boys.” She scoffed under her breath.
