The most valuable thing to Marcelline was the suppressed memories of who she and the others had been before they had been before they had become
this group of fantasy questers in this pocket reality.
It was that dragonnish instinct that knocked those memories loose and back to the surface of her mind.
She had been,and now remembered she was
21 year old Marcia Quartermain
the niece of Professor Phineas Quaetermain
and although her questers were real humans in the prime reality
all the other characters in this pocket reality would cease to exist when the raging real storm in the prime reality caused the steam ship they had been aboard to sing
killing all aboard the Warahtah and those real humans in this pocket reality.
It was really 1907 on a planet called Earth off a continent called Australia
and First Officer Nick Masters cuurrently thought he was a knight named Nicholas and
the Waratah's chief engineer was that greasy goop thing and the ships cook Margo now thought she was a
rat woman nibbling on a mountain of cheese.
Marcia Quartermain concentrated and felt under her scaley outer shell till she felt the round can that was really the RECALL box that would reopen the portal to the Waratah's cargo vault
where the dimensional machine sat.
As Marcia fished out the device she also recalled why the questers had been sent to this pocket reality in the first place.
The raging seas had sent saltwater into the endangered Warahtah and killed the boiler fires and they had been sent here to find something,like a cup of dragons blood
that could be used to reignite the boilers and get the ship the steam she would need to survive the storm threatening her and her
passengers.
Well dragon fire might do the trick.
And so Marcia activated the RECALL and the two realities came crashing together with a
ROAR
