The dining room table is filled with guests to celebrate Kat's birthday. Most of the guests aren't there willingly. Hours earlier when turkey boy was being prepped for the oven, Kat cast a come hither spell: Dan's best friend Jake, his girl friend Lena, the older hunky neighbor boy who Dan admired Todd, and three other guys who were always hanging out with Dan. It was one of the things that Kat hated about Dan, he was just so naturally popular. And Kat wasn't. She had "friends" of a sort. They were a clique, but they weren't really friends. They were the class outcasts that were left out together by their classmates. Unaffectionately, the classmates dubbed the trio, the Weird Sisters after they read Shakespeare's MacBeth in class.
Alice and Trevi were at the table too. They were there because they didn't have anywhere better to be, and Kat knew it too. She almost shared her secret about who her turkey dinner was with her weird sisters, but thought better of it. They might reveal her secret, if it was to one of their advantages.
Her mother raised her eyebrow as she placed the meat on Danny's girlfriend's plate. Why was she here if Danny was at her place? She started to ask the girl, but Kat saw her expression, and used her powers to squash her mother's concerns. Once Danny was eaten and bottled, she would be free of the annoying snot forever. She decided as she bit into his juicy turkey leg that there would be no clone to replace Dan. She would have her parent's open his room into hers to use as her private study. She would erase the annoying there from everyone's minds. His face might be in family pictures, but he would go unnoticed. She smiled. He was really quite tasty.
She opened her mind to hear Danny's final thoughts as his friends and family devoured him. She froze in mid bite. Danny's screams were horrific. He felt the forks skewering him, the knives cutting him, the teeth gnashing and tearing him, as his friends and family unwittingly devoured him.
