While his parents, who have no idea that they are eating their own son, and Kat, who is enjoying her brother-turned-turkey’s screams of pain while being eaten, Dan himself is not just screaming in pain, but is still trying to somehow, at least, draw his mother’s attention to him, but Kat’s spell is to powerful.
After the “Turkey” has been eaten, the parents and Kat lean back and let out satisfied sighs, “that was the best Turkey I’ve ever had,” Mike says.
“Absolutely,” Janet replies, “Dan has no idea what he has missed out on!”
Kat grins inwardly, ‘oh, Dan didn’t miss out on anything,’ she thinks to herself, “well, that’s his problem,” she then says.
“I’ll be heading to bed, I have to leave early in the morning,” Mike says, getting up from the table.
“And I need to relax on the couch,” Janet says, “my show is about to start.”
“I’ll clear up the kitchen,” Kat says, “then I’ll be heading to bed myself. It has been a great birthday.”
While her parents go and do their thing, Kat takes the plates into the kitchen, she then returns and grabs the tray with the Turkey bones and carries it into the kitchen. She pulls out a jar and opens the top, she then mutters a spell under her breath, weird symbols appear on the jar, which quickly fade, becoming invisible. The girl then holds the open end of the jar near the bones, “time for you to meet your new home… at least for now,” she whispers, before muttering another spell and watches as thin white strands of energy start to reach out from the bones and flow into the jar.
As Dan feels his soul being pulled out of the bones of what once was his body and into the jar, he tries with all his strength to pull himself away, but the spell is just to strong and soon he finds himself trapped inside the jar, nothing more than a helpless floating tiny white orb.
Kat smirks at the orb, before putting the jar into her bra, “mom, I just need to use the bathroom,” she then calls, “I’ll be right back and finish the kitchen!”
“Okay, hun,” Janet says.
Kat hurries upstairs to her room, there she takes the jar, containing her brother’s soul, and walks over to her book shelve. The girl removes a few books from the shelve, she then holds the palm of her hand to the wall and mumbles a spell, the wall suddenly opens, revealing a hidden vault, which seems to be made of metal. Kat takes the jar out of her bra and places it into the vault, the girl grins evilly, “before you think you are in some way able to draw attention to yourself, I should inform you, that not only have I cast a strong spell on the jar, which prevents your weak mortal energy from oozing out, but also you are now in a vault which appears to be in this dimension but which is actually in my own created dimension. No one with magical abilities, no matter how powerful, will be able to locate it, only I know how to reach it. Enjoy your stay, I shall collect you, when I think of something new,” with that she closes the vault and Dan finds himself plunged into darkness.
