After hearing what the Room explained to the two, Candy was getting over excited. So much so that she couldn't wait for her mother to decide on what to do. So approaching the middle of the room, she told it. "Hey Room, I want you to regress me to five years. I want to relive my life as a little kid again without the worries or puberty and boys."
Amanda heard her daughter say that and was completely shocked. "Candy!"
The daughter turned to her mother and said to her, "What? I just want to see if what this room said can work or not."
The room soon heard Candy's request and said, "Very well, Candice Waller. Prepare for your journey back to five."
Both Candy and Amanda looked to the counters on the wall to see if there was any changes. Suddenly, Candy's age counter stopped ticking forward before ticking back, slow at first, but faster to the point where days become seconds and months become minutes. Amanda look to the counter and wondered if it was working or not. Looking down to her daughter, she was immediately shocked to see her daughter looking a little younger.
"Candy! Look at yourself! You're starting to look younger!" she yelled in surprise.
Candy heard that and approached one of the mirror walls to see if she was telling the truth. Upon her reflection, she knew that her mom is correct. She was steadily getting younger as her body and shrinking out of the double digits and into her single digits.
She shrinks down an inch, while her hair become short for a bit. The clothes stay the same as she became a 9 year old! Candy is amazed with the changes. "Cool!" she said with a wide smile. She continues to regress as her clothes change from a pink flower dress into a pink shirt and a kids size Demin skirt and her sandals turned into white and pink sneakers. A bow appears on her head and her earrings vanished and Candy becomes an 8 year old. Her clothes changes into a pink flower shirt while her skirt remains. The shoes have become kid sandals and the bow on her head gets bigger. Her hair becomes shorter for a bit becoming a 7 year old. Her body begun to shrink more as she looks herself. Her sandals changes into a yellow color. Her skirt becomes her overalls and her shirt's sleeves become short and turned into white. The bow disappeared and a flower appeared on her hair as her hair become ponytails. The room stopped her regression as she is now 5 years old!
Candy looked on in glee and was behaving like a kid her age. "Yay! I did it! I am young! This is amazing!" she screamed in a much more youthful voice. With so much energy, she jumped up and down and ran around the room, excited over the fact that she is now a little girl without a care in the world.
Amanda though looked at what transpired and couldn't believe. "Oh my god. My own daughter is now five-years-old."
She soon heard the room as it says, "I see you are surprised by that, Amanda Waller."
Amanda looked up to the ceiling and told the room, "Surprise is an understatement. I can't believe you can actually change people's ages. I thought it was just some cheep carnival trick."
"Oh it's not a trick, Amanda." the room replied, "It is as I said before, you can change your age by regressing or progressing. But there is more. As you can see, now only your clothes change to match your age. But also your mind, bond, and reality. So to you and the world around you, everyone things that Candy is really five."
Amanda heard that and finds that hard to believe. "That's just ridiculous. I had my daughter for five years and-" She stopped and realized that she said. She was suppose to say ten cause that's Candy's actual age. Instead, she said that Candy was five. She soon feel a little discomfort in her abdoman and approached the mirror to see if she changes as well. Lifting her crop top up, she was shocked to see that there were a bit of change in her body. While her 35-year-old body looked the same, her scar was looking more deeper then before. It was obvious that in her head, she had that C-Section was cut five years ago when she had Candy.
Looking to the scar, her eyes were wide and couldn't believe that this has happened. "I can't believe it. My scar, it is more visible!"
The room clarified and said, "What did I told. You mind and reality will alter in this room, so will your bond as you believe that you daughter is five instead of ten. It is quite a unique experience, if I do say so myself."
Candy was dancing around as she approached her mother and said, "Come join me, mommy. Being young is so much fun!"
Amanda looked down to her daughter and was still in awe at the fact that she was now back to five thanks to the room. She then wondered what to do.
