Angus was tall. Taller than Sam had expected. He did a quick calculation. Jordan had told him that Samantha was 5’10. He was then wearing 3 inch heels which made him 6’1. Angus was looking down at him suggesting Angus was about 6’3 or 4. He also had broad shoulders. He actually had a similar physique to the swimmer whose body Sam had occupied on his previous change. He had to admit that this man looked very suave in his expensive looking business suit.
“Hello Samantha. It’s lovely to meet you in the flesh. Jordan told me you were having dinner here tonight and as I was free I decided to join you” The man took Sam’s hand and gave it a gentle shake. The voice was deep and commanding.
“Ah…. Angus….. I wasn’t expecting to see you until tomorrow. We were just discussing our presentation” he stared daggers at Jordan. He was happy to see she had removed her folder of intelligence from the table.
“I apologise for the surprise. I know I wasn’t actually invited but I thought the opportunity of meeting you first in a more relaxed situation was too good to pass up. I mean what man wouldn’t want to have dinner with two gorgeous ladies”
Sam felt like vomiting. “We were talking tactics about tomorrow” The words felt dumb to Sam as soon as they were out of his mouth.
“Take your seat Samantha” Jordan told him. “The waiter is going to add a place for Angus. There are no secrets we need to keep from him”
Just then the waiter returned and with Angus’s help joined another table to the one where Jordan and Sam were sitting. He set a place for Angus beside Jordan, across from Sam.
Before the waiter left Angus had ordered a drink and a steak for himself.
“Shall I delay the ladies meals until yours is ready?”
“Yes please” said Jordan before Sam could say anything.
They settled into small talk as the waiter bought over another bottle of champagne. Sam observed that it was real French champagne. The waiter poured some into three fresh glasses.
Angus was asking about their first impressions of what was his hometown. He was also asking about the other places Jordan and Sam visited. The questions were easy enough for Sam and Jordan to answer. The conversation then moved on to some of the other clients who used the new software package that Jordan and Sam were spruiking. Sam let Jordan do the answering. That was her line of work. Sam was the technical expert.
The meals arrived faster than Sam was expecting. Angus’s steak looked enticing but Sam’s linguine was more than enough for him. He had just decided he had had enough when disaster struck. The waiter when clearing Sam’s half empty plate somehow tripped and the remains of Sam’s linguini spilt onto his lap.
Sam immediately stood up and surveyed the damage. His pants were badly stained in the crotch area.
“I am so sorry!” said the waiter. “I will get some sponges so that you may clean yourself up”
“That’s not going to clean up easily said Jordan. I’ll go up to our room and get you something else to wear” She had departed before Sam could reply.
“You will get these pants dry cleaned” said Angus. He was addressing the waiter who had returned with some wet cloths and a bin. He passed a sponge to Sam then set about cleaning up the mess on the floor.
“Most certainly sir. I do apologise. Your meals will be on the house”
Sam found the stain would not come out easily. He now had a large dark wet patch on his flat groin.
What an embarrassment. A casual observer might think he had wet himself. At least they were on the far side of the room from other customers but he observed a few of them looking his way. He sat back down in despair. Trying to not garner any more attention.
He found himself sitting alone at the table with Angus.
