As Julius sat on the rock, wriggling his mud-stained webbed toes, Mimic Frog Archie just so happened to see another froggy change happening to his friend -
He saw small flecks of green appear on the soles of Julius' webbed mud-stained feet.
But not just on his webbed mud-stained feet, oh no.
Archie saw green flecks appear on his friend's hands, and on his face too!
Julius saw the green flecks too. They surprised him. The green flecks seemed to be changing his skin pigment from brown to green.
"Holy cow!" he said, awestruck. "I'm turnin' green as a cucumber!"
Within seconds, he was completely green as a cucumber - from his head to his fingertips to the ends of his webbed mud-stained toes.
But not only that, his skin suddenly began to feel damp and clammy.
He felt the dampness soak into his clothes.
