A victim of The Rogue, Luis, a (former) "sex beast", was shunned by the unchanged and mutants alike for a while after he arrived to my flat.
My neighbors have warmed up to him and he with them - he's a great guy - but some still are a bit weary of him.
Who could blame them? You'd be as scared of his appearance as much as "sex beasts" reputations for unmatched libidos.
But it wasn't their fault, or of the Fusion Wave,
at least not directly.
Luis refuses to be labeled as a "Victim," though he doesn't like the slang term "sex beasts" either - I agree with him, the name is a pretty derogative. The WTEA label "Victim" does single them out though.
Though he can't see his own reflection, something he admitted to me a few days ago as we talked in out beds (well, for him not physically - he has to use that MyVoice neckband that he purposely sets to have a baritone Hispanic voice) that he is glad he is not able to do,
Luis, like pretty much all of the "sex beasts" looks a bit . . . eldritch.
And that's all thanks to the limitless depths of creative depravity of The Rogue.
