In early spring a train derailed right outside a small isolated town in middle America. The some of the contents of the train leaked out from the wreck and into the town’s water supply before the train company could come and clean up their mess. Most of what leaked were industrial oils and unrefined compounds that the company insisted were nontoxic and nonlethal. What the company didn’t tell the media was that one of the spilled train cars had belonged to a pharmaceutical company that was transporting proprietary and experimental medical materials. After a week of bad media about worries of tainted water and safety issues the governor of the state came to the town to calm the worries. She had even brought her young son with her to demonstrate the safety of the town’s water.
Unknown to everyone was that while the town’s water filtration systems had been able clean out the industrial waste from the water it hadn’t removed the experimental virus that the pharmaceutical company had been transporting. The industrial waste had mutated the virus far beyond its initial purposes and had permeated the entire system. Before the Governor and her son left the town, both of them along with the rest of the town were infected with the virus. The affects of the virus wouldn’t manifest for a while after the initial infection ran its course so no one realized they had been affected until it was too late.
In the future after the infection was properly studied these statistics of its affects were found.

5% of infected males over the age of 13 completely swapped their biological sex.
10% of infected males over the age of 13 had other non-categorized mutations such as (shrinking, age reduction, mpreg, and many others)
100% of infected males under the age of 13 had an increase to their penis size.
60% of infected males under the age of 13 had increased strength without muscle growth.
1% of infected males under the age of 13 became more feminine.
It is the summer after the derailment and the affects of the virus have been slowly manifesting and are starting to become noticeable.
