Lexia's coverage of the Joyous Bounty was one of the more popular segments of Animalia Ambassadoria's coverage, partly because of her coverage of the BARA and ROSE "segments" of the ship, as well as a meeting with the female Dolphin Animalian who was in charge of Mieni Atoll's new strip club/nightclub, who was also one of Miss Fabina's friends. Of course, the usual internet weirdos, sensationalists, etc., were quick to blow this way out of proportion in various ways, but by now, they were getting less and less attention.

There were plenty of surprises that were more tied to the games than anything else. Both Nio and Sophie did better than anyone expected in their events, which some online were quick to blame either "fanbases" or "conspiracies" for the results, especially since Sophie ended up in second place, which was a big jump from last time.
The biggest surprise was when Hector won gold in his weight class, much to everyone's surprise. Of course, Hector was already generating some controversy due to his new flock, though the controversy had been started by the usual internet weirdos, and continued by those who were clearly jealous of his luck, especially since, after he met his new flock, he entered into a random blackjack tournament at the Worldmeet Glade and won, especially since he expected to be knocked out in the early rounds.

Since August was going to be a slow month in terms of holidays (depending on location), the IAC was proving to be a welcome distraction from all the bad things happening in the wider world.
