Kim, dressed in a green dress and heels for date night, entered her son's room. "Now, I want you to behave tonight," she said, sternly. "Your father and I will be back at..." She trailed off as her mind went blank.
Johnny froze where he stood, the twelve year old boy started to shrink...his face growing a bit more chubby as he baby teeth returned. His t-shirt and jeans turned into a pair of pajamas. The Chronovac's goal was to make Kim a twelve year old...and Johnny had to remain a kid to satisfy previous instructions...so Johnny became a seven year old.
Meanwhile, the Chronovac took an additional 5 years off of Kim as well, making her 25, but then stopped, turning its focus to the others in the house. It couldn't make Kim any younger without a replacement. It needed to make sure other adjustments, then test before proceeding to its final goal.
