Flip squeaked, panicked, as he tried to swim to the shallow end of the pool he was in to drop off Millie, who had fallen on his back, on dry land.
Millie was beginning to get her bearings and was prepared to roll of Flip's back and swim herself when a sharp, searing pain hit her backside, causing her to yelp underwater.
The same happened to Flip, who convulsed violently.
They quickly gasped for air before they started to sink.
The two, sinking, were almost magnetically pulled towards each other.
Though Flip pounding his tail as hard as he could and Millie tried her best to breaststroke away from him, they could not resist the pull and collided with each other, painfully, as they touched the bottom of the pool, swarms of bubbles rising around them.
Millie was running out of breath as she struggled along with Flip, only succeeding in thrashing around and moving in a circle.
And then, suddenly, Millie's arms and legs tensed up violently before going numb, and dislodging from their positions.
Millie's eyes went wide as her arms snaked out of her shirt sleeves and her legs wiggled out of her pants.
They floated around for a few seconds before, her arms, like darts, went and attached themselves to Flip, just in front of his pectoral fins.
Millie's legs attached themselves, backwards, to where her arms should be instead.
