Looking around the boardwalk and beach, Abigail looked to the pier that has all those amusement rides. Looking on, she remembered when she was younger, she always go to the pier with her family just to have a good time. Back then, the pier use to have the basic rides for kids, such as a carousel, a Ferris wheel, a fun house, and a few kiddie rides. Now a days, pier's have a tendency to be more newer and more aggressive. While some of the rides she remembered were still there, she could see rides that would be too extreme for her taste. She could see a one loop coaster, along with one that twists and turn, a drop down ride, a sling shot, and many other rides that look in her eyes to be not safe. In short, the pier she grew up in isn't what it once was.
Starring at the pier, she sighed and said, "Kids these days... Always into rides that would potentially hurt them, or worse. There was once a time where rides aren't as aggressive." Looking on, she soon felt a little nostalgic and said, "You know what? I might as well check and see what they got. Who knows, maybe there's something for a lady my age." So she turned and walked down the pier to see what it has.
After a slow and steady walk with her cane, she entered the amusement pier and wondered what it has. But by entering the pier, she could tell that a lot has changed. She could see some rides she was familiar with, but they were very few. There were however a lot of extreme and new rides she never seen before. Ones with loops, ones with launches, ones that spins back and forth, and ones that look too dangerous in her eyes.
Seeing the crowd gathered around these lines, she sighed and said, "This place is too much! Look at these rides! It's almost like someone wanting to die for fun. There is no way someone like me could enjoy any of this."
Looking around, she wondered what to do. But whatever she would do, the amulet that she obtained by that stranger will grant it to her heart's desire.
