Leo, since he ended up single after a painful divorce, was very depressed. His mean wife did lots of false accusations about cheating on her and even manipulated his young son to lie about being physically abused, like beating him up. All that just lay to ruin him and made him lose his privilege to have at least shared custody.
At his work, as a physical education teacher, he was not the same. His colleagues didn’t know what to do to cheer him up. But somebody had an idea, they all chipping on to pay for his vacation at the pleasure island.
Leo was not really in the mood to go on vacation even though it was the end of the class for the summertime. He was even in the mood to even think of killing himself because he lost his reason to live. But he did some research and saw it was possible to only decide what his fantasy was when he could be there. So not saying about his intention, he secretly decided to be there as a shrunken guy, so he may be killed by a giant. His colleagues had no idea they maybe just paid for his own planned death.
The day of his trip arrived, and Leo began to feel better, but it was not because he got over all the bad things that happened to him, he was in a better mood thinking his misery was about to end. So he took a plane which arrived at a harbour where he took a boat. The cruise lasted around 6 hours, which seem to be an eternity. But finally, he was there on that strange island. He took a bus to reach his final destination which was a resort for shrunken and normal size men.
At the front desk, he has been asked if he will be normal size or shrunken, and he selected the latter.
“Good choice, you will sure be very popular as you are very good looking sir”, said the clerk.
Leo was puzzled and had not expected to be said such things. A teen busboy carried his luggage and walked him to the shrinking booth. He saw he was not alone. There were also young boys, teens, and young adults waiting. Stepping inside all together as it was quite a large booth, he was surprised to see that all were very excited to be there. At a moment he felt a strange tingling sensation for a little while, but everyone and everything seem normal. But there was another sliding door opening to the opposite end of the booth.
Everyone has been invited to pick up all their belonging and walk outside. They have been advised to only walk on the left side because normal size people use the right side. Everything and everyone else looked 6 times taller than they were. Then they has been walked to their rooms.
Leo decided to explore the place, he was very impressed.
