The next day Josh went to school as usual. The day also passed fairly calmly, knowing that both Sally and Mike were otherwise busy today and so he shouldn't expect any harassment. He also avoided the others in Mike and Sally's group and that was how the school day came to an end.
In the morning, however, he had thought of something and set out to meet Mellisa. She was Josh's childhood friend and went to the same school with him. She was of normal build and had red hair. When he met her he told her about the pen. When she just gave him a funny look, he offered her a taste.
She figured the pen wasn't working, but looking around she noticed two other girls.
"You can transform those two over there. They've been bugging me the howle month."
"And what shall they become?"
"Since they're always cute, I figured something cute would match to them. Maybe you can turn them into muffins."
Josh then wrote their names down and a second later there were two muffins on the floor. One with a blueberry and one with a raspberry on top. Josh picked them both up and gave one to Melissa. Her eyes widened and she couldn't believe what she saw. Before she could ask anything, Josh told her.
"Before you ask don't worry, no one will miss them as they will be erased from everyone's memories. Also, don't worry about me using the pen on you as I only want to do good with it."
Slightly reassured by his words, Melissa took a bite of her muffins. It was the most delicious muffin she has ever eaten. When the two finished eating, Josh said:
"Now that you believe in the power of the pen and I've shared its secret with you. I wanted to tell you something else."
He let her in on his plan for the remaining two groups of bullies. She immediately agreed to help him, knowing that Josh wasn't the only one being teased by them. He told her his next target was Sally and her group and offered to help Melissa decide what they should become.
Melissa accepted this with thanks and told him that she would think about something until the next day.
When they meet the next day, she had made up her mind. Sally and her group should became.
