Mary decided to stay by the lake for the night, feeling grateful to have found a peaceful spot to rest. She spent some time exploring the surrounding area, using her enhanced senses to detect any potential dangers. She heard the faint rustle of leaves as small animals scurried by, and the gentle hum of insects in the distance.
As the sun began to set, Mary searched for materials to build a shelter. She collected some vines and branches and worked to fashion them into a makeshift roof. The process was slow, and it took her about an hour to complete. Her newfound strength and stamina helped her a lot and made the whole process much easier.
As she settled down for the night, Mary heard a growl from her stomach. Indeed, she felt hungry. She looked around for something to eat. She discovered some berries, but was a little afraid of the unknown food. Unknown berries are never a good idea, she thought. Then she remembered the fish swimming in the lake. From the leftovers, what she had not needed for the shelter, she quickly built a spear by attaching a sharp stone to it. It wasn't perfect, but it would have to do.
Mary waded into the water, feeling the coolness of the lake against her skin. With her enhanced reflexes, it was easy for her to catch a big fish. She brought it back to the shore and used some stones to start a fire. It took her a few tries, but eventually, the fire caught and she roasted the fish over the flames.
Finally, she sat down to eat her meal, feeling satisfied and grateful for her success. She had managed to survive in the jungle with only her wits and bare hands, even though they seemed much stronger now.
As the night drew on, Mary felt herself getting drowsy. She lay down on her makeshift bed and fell asleep. She felt somehow safe and content despite the dangerous new environment.
