The honey colored filly looked at Lucky then back up at Fortune in slight confusion.
"You sound.....disappointed," Anya stated. "Is something wrong?"
"Do we...do we have to leave? Maybe we should just cut our losses and stay here," Fortune replied, sighing contentedly as she thought of Reliable. "It really isn't so bad."
Anya blinked. "You want to stay here? As some subservient mare just used to make foals?"
"Maybe I do. I kept on trying to resist these urges, but, now that I'm just giving in, I like it. As Fortune, I know my destiny, and it's a safe and happy one."
Anya just stared. "I....I can't believe you! After all I did to help to protect you, getting reborn as a filly, you're just going to give up?! What happened to the Jasper who wanted to be king one day and show his father how good of a ruler he would be?"
Fortune lowered her head. "That was never me, Anya. My dad wanted me to be ruler. I couldn't care less. Why do you think I had so many concubines? For royal training? No, cause I wanted to get my mind off my dad's plans for me, of a kingdom relying on me for all their problems. I'm not some hero or great leader, Anya. Find someone else. I'm done."
"Fine then, 'Fortune'. I hope you live a happy life, " Anya said. And with that, the filly used some of the magic she had gained back to teleport away.
"Goodbye," she said before she disappeared.
Fortune kept her head down. "Goodbye....Anya...."
