Everything became fuzzy. Erika's eyelids got heavy. Before she knew it, she fell to the ground. She fainted.
She finally woke up what seemed like a good night of sleep. She was on her bed. She stretched and sat up. The room was dark except for the flickering of a candle on a desk. There were books stacked all around from wall to wall.
Sliding out of the bed, she noticed that she was wearing a long dark blue dress. It looked like some kind of witches attire. A hat was lying on the desk. There was a staff in the corner of the room supported by the wall. It was long and seemed to be made of some kind of twisted wood. It looked more natural than carved.
She walked over the book that was open on the desk. It read "Basics of Witchcraft". It had instructions on basic magic procedures and incantations. "Ah!" Erika jumped at the feeling of fur rubbing on the back of her leg. There was a cute black cat with green eyes rubbing against her heel. Mewing and purring.
Erika got up and started to look at the various books laying around. Each were quite simple magic spells. "Maybe I should give this magic thing a try." Erika says to the cat petting it. The cat replied with a meow.
