‘The Cursed’ was a card game lost to time, last played almost sixteen years before being destroyed… or so they thought.
The five siblings were forever changed by their experience with the game. Some didn’t realise what it had done to them, the issues that would arise from their experiences, but the scars were apparent. The game was indeed cursed, and their lives were never the same.
Ashley, the winner of the game took the game in secret, taking herself to the nearest and tallest cliff overlooking the ocean. She looked at the cards a final time before throwing them off the edge, falling into the water below. With it’s weight, she hoped it would sink to the bottom of the ocean, never to be found again.
Of course, her siblings were mad, yet they were lucky to have been left unchanged. They wanted to play again, and she had to lie, otherwise they’d go looking for it.
Unfortunately, they still tried searching. Yet, no one found a thing… except for Samantha. She found a single card.

Sixteen years had passed, and miraculously, the game washed up on the coast of a small town. An elderly couple found the game and sold it to a local shop-owner. After a few months, someone took an interest in the game, pointing at it on the top shelf and asking,
“What’s that?”
