"I think it's time we played Rebirth Roulette! " Lesley announced. "In case you don't remember, if you regress past conception then you will remain an egg waiting to be re-fertilized." She paused a moment. "Unless your mother is also regressed until she is un-conceived, but we already played that game. Don'tworry, this time will be collectingthe sperm in sample cups to refertilize them."
A bed and a hospital gown were brought in. "How about you get ready Rose, it's gonna be a doozy for you."
Still tranced, Rose began to disrobe and put on the medical gown. There were some wolf whistles from the crowd, while someone else asked, "can't you regress her to her 20s first?"
Lesley ignored them. "Now, a lesson in biology. The genes you inherit are based off of the egg and sperm that combine at conception. The sperms race to the egg and the winner helps make you. But what if the race could be ran again? Would the same sperm win, or would a different set of genes emerge? Some people just win the genetic lottery and others get the short end of the stick, but now we are going to spin that wheel again and see what happens."
Lesley went to the father. "Tell us about your children." She commanded.
"Terri is our oldest. She's 19, is very smart and has a gift for science. Jessica is 16 and she's the artist. Kevin is 12 and really loves football. He's quick and is usually played as a running back."
Lesley waved her hand and his head drooped. "A gift in science, a talent for art, the athletic ability to be quick. These are the things our contestants have to loose. In rebirth roulette, we don't control the outcome. Not even I can change it. They could have a naturally lower IQ or a terrible metabolism that causes them to gain weight. Then again they could hit the jackpot, and return with looks, brains, talent and ambition. Our lovely family could leave here with all boys, or all girls, and any combination in-between. Some people win and others lose, but that's why we call it roulette. Now, who shall we begin with?
