After showing off in the mirror and getting dressed--sans bra--Mary decided to try another vial. She stood in front of the open box sliding a finger across the labels. Which animal intrigued her the most? She was about to pick up the horse vial when the vial with a picture of a mouse caught her eye. She had fond memories of watching old "Tom and Jerry" cartoons, and always loved watching Jerry outsmart that dim-witted cat. Plus, mice were small creatures, and Mary was curious as to what new perspective that kind of change would bring.
She pulled the mouse vial out of the box and opened it. At first the smell was revolting. She imagined that's what month-old cheese smelled like if you put it next to a skunk. But oddly enough, just thinking about cheese--of any age--was appealing to her. She still wanted to see what it was like to be a mouse, so she plugged her nose and took a sip.
At first it tasted almost as bad as it smelled, but the second sip wasn't so bad. By the fourth sip, Mary was almost enjoying the taste. She giggled, wondering if this potion was making her drunk. She finally threw caution to the wind and drank over half of the remaining liquid.
"A whole vial knocked me unconscious," Mary thought. "I don't want to miss the changes this time."
She replaced the vial in the box and waited to feel something. After a few minutes, she couldn't detect any change whatsoever. She looked in the nearest mirror, and though she was still a knockout, there was no sign at all that she was turning into a mouse.
"Oh, well," she thought. "At least one of these vials worked." She began to think about her new breasts. She was definitely going to need bigger bras, not to mention more revealing outfits. Since there was nothing more to do but wait and see if she was ever going to start changing, she grabbed her car keys and headed out of her apartment to go shopping.
