Jess gasped. When the employee had told her the suit would make her a little kid, she thought that meant elementary schooler, but that was an overestimate. A big one. The little girl in the mirror was too immature to even be called a toddler.
While seeing herself in the pudgy body of someone who was still of bottle feeding age was certainly fascinating, Jess was more than a little disappointed. When she had been thinking of a week of childish rule breaking, she had pictured more staying up late eating candy and watching scary movies, less running around without a diaper and teething on the TV remote.
Another oddity was the fact she still looked like herself. A baby version, but herself for sure. Eyes, hair, and skin were all a match for old photos she'd seen.
That was weird wasn't it? Gen-Tech suits could use your genetics to generate appearance, but wasn't this supposed to be a custom order? Why would a suit that just made you look like a baby be custom?
"Doesn't really matter," she mumbled, "Probably never putting this on again anyway."
Turning around to get a good view of her back, Jess saw the activation button was right where it should be, now perfectly disguised as a small birthmark. Placing her thumb on it she waited 30 seconds only instead of activating a voice spoke from seemingly inside her ear.
"Jennifer I hope this experience will show you what being treated like a baby is actually like," said an unkown man, "Once your mother and I are satisfied you've learned how to listen and behave, we will let you take the suit off."
Uh oh. Jess swallowed hard. That was the custom part. This was meant to help wrangle some rebellious teen. But if she couldn’t take it off herself, who else was going to? Her stomach dropped at the idea of going downstairs like this and asking her parents for help. But given the only other choice would be hiding out until they left for their trip in the morning and calling a friend for help, which would leave her stuck like this far longer than she really wanted...
