Instead of answering, Karltin raised his hands and muttered something under his breath. There was a flash of light. When the light cleared, Pearl was once again human. Though she could tell even without looking at her reflection that she was still female. And a very curvaceous one at that.
"I need a wife," Karltin said. "And if my wife is a former dragon, why, our children will be the most powerful witches in the world!"
"Children?" Pearl said, gagging.
"Of course. That is your responsibility as my wife, after all. Now, come along." Karltin waved his fingers, and Pearl's body began to move on its own, against her will. They walked past a stream, in which Pearl could see her reflection. She was a striking woman, with rosy skin, light gray eyes, flawless features, a perfect body, and light pink hair. Her bountiful breasts seemed to be straining the seams of the silver gown she was wearing. In short, she was the perfect woman.
Great.
Karltin brought Pearl back to his cabin and sat her down in a chair.
"You can't make me be your wife," Pearl hissed. "I know that no magic can make someone fall in love."
"That is true," Karltin conceded. He smiled evilly. "But I can make you act my wife through other magical means..."
