Melanie was feeling both afraid and humiliated. She wasn't sure how she had done it but her new housemate, who had taking an almost instant dislike to Melanie in spite of her best efforts to be friendly and polite, had made her clothes vanish and forced Melanie to act as if she were a dog.
It was a very strange feeling. Melanie still had her human mind completely in tact and wanted nothing more than to get dressed, leave this place and run a mile. However it was like there was some unseen force instructing her to act as she knew a canine would rather than act as Melanie. In fact, despite having been warned to stay upstairs to avoid Beth's sorcerer guest she was not sure her doggy instincts would allow her to stay cooped up like that. However, she was about to run into a more immediate problem. Padding along on all fours towards her room, trying to ignore the dust and lint she was collecting on her feet, shins and the palms of her hands, Melanie looked up to see a black cat staring back at her. After her initial thought of how cliche that was a sudden, overpowering urge came over her. She had to chase and corner that cat!
The cat stood in place and stared at Melanie for a moment as if confused as to whether this human was a predator or not. It let out a tentative mewing sound which immediately caused Melanie to bark back aggressively and then both darted off at once. The cat, of course was far more quick and nimble than Melanie and got away from her quite quickly. However, while Melanie was naturally slower than a real dog - she was not designed to move about on all fours and her large breasts were bouncing around uncomfortably - she had the advantage of human intelligence. She knew the cat couldn't be far away and she had to find it and corner it!
