“Sorry, my flight got delayed two-“ Angela said as she looked up and froze.
Colin finally pushed Ashley off his body and stumbled to his feet.
“Angela, I SWEAR I didn’t….” Colin pleaded.
“I’m to jet lagged for excuses….”The businesswoman frowned sourly.
He stumbled forward on his knees “I’m so sorry, I didn’t even want-“
All he got was a thunderous SLAM.
“… Am I missing something here?” Ashley asked.
“Let’s just get washed up…” Colin glumly sighed.

Colin sat there awkwardly jabbing his fork into the crusty, saucy meal on his plate.
“Are you okay babe?” Sam asked, “I’m seeing a lot of eggplant parmesan and not a load of blurry motions…”
“Bigger question; if this is what Angela wanted, why isn’t she eating?” Christy asked as the platinum blonde coldly stared across the table cutting back and forth.
“Yeah, this is some good shit…” Ash said as she crammed another mouthful down.
Ash looked up to a bunch of confused faces.
“Biggest question: who are you?” Lori asked.
Sam put the dots together immediately.
“I’m gonna take a guess and say that’s Ash, right?” Sam asked.
“Yeah, I’ve been sitting right here the whole time!” Ash said as Angela gazed at her blankly.
“So that means that she’s one of us?” Lisa asked.
“Obviously.” Lucy said as she served up another slice of her eggplant parmigiana.
Angela said nothing as she walked away and out the front door.
Sam could only let out a disappointed sigh as Colin headed straight for bed.

Colin stared at the ceiling before grabbing his phone and tapping through his albums before he found Angela’s.
That sweet smile when they were cuddled upon the couch…

Lunch at the Hibachi place she loved…
Then he got a notification.
It was a text.
Angela: Are you awake?
Colin: OH GOD YES!!! I’m so sorry! She tricked me! I never meant to do anything with her!
Angela: Take some vacation days off from your job.
Colin: ????
Angela: I’m dead serious, take two weeks off.
Colin: I have to place a notice a couple weeks in advance
Angela: It will be in a couple weeks.
Colin: Okay then… love you…
No text back.
Colin sighed and went back to staring at the ceiling.

Sam rolled over and opened her eyes.
“Colin?” Sam asked.
It wasn’t like him to leave her laying there.
“Colin?” Sam called as she slipped her shirt on.
“He’s not with Sam!” Jessie said as the blonde Amazon looked over to the others chattering to each other.
“What’s going on?” Sam asked.
“None of us have seen Colin all day!” Marinette said.
“Girls!” Jamie called.
“He took two weeks off at work, but he never said anything about leaving!” Wendy shouted.
“GIRLS!” Jamie shouted.
Everyone else just kept freaking out as the cheerleader took a big breath.
“GIIIIIIIIIIRLS!!!!!!!!!” Jamie screamed.
“WHAT?!” Everyone else shouted.
“Angela said to play this when everybody was like, together!” Jamie said as she held up a flash drive.
Everyone watched as Angela played the video on her laptop.
“Hello ladies.” Angela said flatly. “I bet you’re wondering where Colin and I are….”
“Well yeah!” Lisa said.
“Shut up, this isn’t Zoom!” Lucy snapped.
“After I came back from my last trip… I decided I wanted to keep a closer eye on him… so he’s coming on my next trip with me… we’ll be sure to send you pictures from…”
