Marina awoke from hearing thuds and grunts, she yawned and look near hear, it was Adrian, he seems like he has a lot of thoughts in his head, he still wears the medallion and has his merman tail, didn't he take it off last night? She then moved near him and ask him.
"Hey, Adrian, did you wear the medallion again? because I thought that you put it near your pillow?" Adrian saw the awakened Marina, then looks at his tail. "I.. I did removed the medallion, but when I woke up, I tried to walk but instead I fell on my bean bag because my tail is still their, I tried putting the medallion on again to see if I would turn back into a human, however I'm still a merman, I took it off but the results are still the same, so yeah, I guess I just put it back on because I cant turn back for some reason.
Marina looks at Adrian with concern, removing the medallion was supposed to turn him back to a human. How is it different from her?
"Oh Adrian.. I'm so sorry, I had no idea that this medallion would do this to you, if i would have known then I-"
"Hey, it's okay, I'm the one who put the medallion on myself, don't blame yourself for this, okay?"
"But still.. I should have known and prevented this from happening to you.. So.. you really can't turn back? Even if you take it off?"
"Yeah.. But it's okay, Maybe I can find a way to turn back somehow, If I can even find a way hahaha.. But, if there is no solution to this and it's permanent, then that's okay, I will find ways to get around on land, and plus, I can even help out with the local fisherman in catching larger amounts of fish, y'know, to contribute to them." Adrian sighs as he stares at Marina.
"Maybe if I put it on, you might turn back to a human?"
"Well.. We can give it a shot, I mean I haven't really thought of that, so if this is going to be a solution that we theorize, then lets try it."
Marina takes the medallion from Adrian and puts it on, She turns into a mermaid however Adrian still remains the same. She takes it off and turns back into a human. Marina stares in shock because she realize that the effect of the medallion is probably temporary for women and permanent for men, Adrian thinks the same thing.
"Oh my.. this is quiet concerning.. I'm going to try finding a solution to this, don't worry Adrian."
"I originally wanted to make you a breakfast special but it got cancelled out because of.. well.. this.."
"Well then, I am cooking today then, you wait here while I prepare breakfast for the both of us, take it as a sort of thank you for giving me dinner and having one of the most steamiest night i've had, hehehe."
"Okay then, I'll wait here for you, and you don't need to worry about me here, I don't dry here like normal dolphins do so it isn't my big concerns."
Marina walks to the kitchen and begins to prepare breakfast for the both of them, Marina knows how to cook an amazing dish thanks to her own home training, she puts the best materials she can find to create the best breakfast that Adrian will have, he will love what she has in store for him, even though what she is cooking is kind of taking a little longer than her usual.
Back in Adrian, he waits for Marina to finish their breakfast, after a few minutes he could already smell the delicious dish that she is preparing for the both of them, he is excited to get a taste of what she has created. After more minutes though, he noticed that she is taking a little longer, so he decided to get a book from the bottom shelf. Adrian dragged himself towards the bookshelf and grabbed one of his favorites. he then continued his "journey" to his bed and his "challenge" to climb up there, since he has already kind of gotten used to it, it didn't take him long to successfully be on his bed, though with a few falls and struggles. He then started to read and waited for Marina.
