Emily couldn’t stop herself from giggling a little as she heard a very feminine huff of disappointment coming from next to her. “This camera has it out for me, I swear.” Rick—now a very pretty redheaded girl—whined. Emily giggled again as she glanced over. Just like her, Rick was clad in a blue and white cheerleading uniform, glancing around nervously.
“I guess the camera decided to give you a new perspective on sports.” Emily teased. “Besides, you look totally hot, Riley.”
“Thanks!” Riley chirped, then her eyes widened. “I didn’t mean to say that!” She said nervously. “I think the change is messing with my head.”
“Just relax, Riley.” Emily reassured her friend. “If you just try and have fun, maybe you’ll feel better.” Riley looked dubious, but nodded. “Okay Emily.” She replied. “I’ll give it a try.”
The two girls began slowly making their way through the store, checking out the various items on sale. To Riley it felt like every guy in the store was checking her out. She just had to—
“Big game tonight.”
A guy’s voice broke through her thoughts, and Riley jumped, letting out a very feminine squeak of alarm. Glancing over she saw Emily standing off to the side next to another guy. “Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you. I’m Jake.” The first guy continued. “Brad and I were here shopping for some new gear for the game tonight, and thought we’d come over and say hello.”
Riley smiled weakly at Jake. She was sure Emily was funding this hilarious. What should she do?
