Pyrite, formerly the warlock Karltin, reflected upon his situation as he flew after Pyrona, unable to fight physically against her commands. This was bad, as in very, very bad. He had cast the spell so he'd be an adult dragon! An adult! So what was the meaning of this? Why was he taken for a juvenile dragon? This wasn't supposed to happen! This stupid royal dragon was wrong! Unless... Unless HE was the wrong who had messed up!... This Pyrona dragon seemed to know what she was saying. She was a dragon herself, after all, right? So he might have cast the spell incorrectly upon himself, making him shy of being an actual adult dragon. He cursed himself mentally. Damn, damn, damn! He was now a young female dragon, stuck with a female intent on raising him and mothering him. And within her claws the egg he wanted to sell, no less! Now this plan had magnificently backfired! Karltin then shuddered. What was going to happen to him?... What did being raised as dragon royalty entailed? It must be different from being raised human for sure? How long could he keep up the charade? Would the dragons kill him when they realised that instead of a young orphan they had a transformed adult male? Certainly! He felt vile in this reptilian and female body already! So for the dragons to understand they had a human adult male would send them into heights of disgust! But Pyrona seemed to control his body already! It was awful! His only chance was to escape as soon as it was feasible, because there was no way he'd play sweet baby dragon girl like a puppet for a dragon queen. And he did not want to see what Ignis and his supposedly siblings looked like. He'd leave Jasper to his fate and save his own skin. It was the only thing to do at this point in this debacle. He'd be lucky if he could achieve as much.
