Sherry had stopped breathing, but oddly enough was still talking, or at least she thought she was still talking. She could still see as well. "When will it stop?"
Katie reached over...her touch seemed to hasten the changes. She gently ran her fingers over Sherry's eyes...and when she did, Sherry found they were suddenly fixed in place. She couldn't feel anything that was still movable...if there was a part of her body still functioning, she couldn't feel it.
"I can't wait to see Megan's face."
"You stay away from her..." Sherry said. "People are going to question who you are...and where I went..."
"Somehow," she giggled, "I don't think it'll be a problem..."
