Drake stared in confusion as his boyfriend and best friend fought over the lamp. He was really starting to wish that he'd just kept it a secret and that Alan hadn't gotten a hold of it. 'But was it really that bad?' Drake thought to himself. Afterall, Zack had always been on his side doing what was best for him.
"Alright Alan," Drake said. His voice was calm and stern. "Sit." Instantly Alan's big muscular body dropped down onto all fours. What Drake didn't notice was Alan's hair turning snow white as his ears grew to points and then rose to the top of his head. A tail quickly extended out the back of Alan's tail bone and didn't start wagging until Drake's hand rustled through his fur on his head. Just like Zack, the only parts of him that were similar to animals were their hands, feet, tails, ears and sharper teeth. However, the patch of fur covering Alan's pecs and abs was on full display as the only thing he was wearing was a black pair of underwear. Only because campus demanded it. "Why are you acting so bad? Do I need to put your leash on?"
Alan's muscular body tightened and flexed as Drake slid his finger between his red collar and his neck. "No sir!" he quickly chanted. "There's no reason to put on Alan's leash. Alan can be a good boy!"
"Good," Drake said as he gave Alan another pet the the head, making sure to scratch behind his wolf ears. His tail wagged fast as he leaned more into Drake's body. The huge bodybuilder sized wolf could have easily knocked Drake's body over if he wasn't careful. His long wolf nails on his hands and paws dug into the carpet as his tongue lolled out of his human mouth. "Now, what's wrong?"
"Zack has taken Master's lamp," Alan said.
"Is that a problem?" Drake asked. "He is my boyfriend."
Alan's head cocked to the side. "Oh..." he suddenly didn't understand why he thought that Zack shouldn't have taken the lamp from him. It was weird. It was Master's lamp, then why should Alan have it either? His mind tried to rationalize why he would have taken Master's lamp and wished for so many things, but no logical reason would come. Alan stood up. "Alan is sorry," he extended his hand out towards Zack.
For a moment, Zack looked as though he thought it might be a trick. He scanned Alan's face and then glanced at the white furred hand. "Nah. It's all good buddy," Zack said as he ignored the outstretched hand and ruffled Alan's hair.
A menacing growl rumbled out of Alan's throat. "Alan..." Drake scolded. Alan instantly went quiet and rushed back to Drake's side. "Sorry about that..." Drake apologized to Zack. "He's normally not like this. I swear..."
"I think he just doesn't like me," Zack smiled. The silent snarl Alan showed off only confirmed the 'suspicion.'
Alan's flash of fangs instantly disappeared when Drake looked at him. "Well, he's going to have to learn to get along with you. Isn't that right," Drake scolded. Alan's ears dropped as Drake said it. He nodded. "Good. Now, let's get back to lunch." Drake picked up his meal and took it towards one of the large round tables in the center of the room. He wondered if the main reason Alan had been so irritable was because Drake hadn't allowed Alan to sit next to him.
Alan quickly grabbed his lunch and sat on one side of Drake while Zack sat on the other. The way that Alan leaned against his body with his tail wagging happily only confirmed that must have been at least part of the problem.
