Cheyenne Meyers and her daughter Hailey had been having trouble for the last few weeks. Cheyenne was in her early forties while Hailey was in her early twenties, now they had been out driving late one night after having a nice dinner with some friends. However they had gotten into some trouble when they stopped to help a woman they thought had been hurt on the roadside, she had turned out to be a vampire and had bitten both of them. Over the next few days they struggled with coming to grips on being vampires. Cheyenne didn't like that she had to keep her daughter from her friends, but if they got close to someone they might bite them and turn them.
"Mom, I can't take this anymore! I want to go out into the world again, I don't want to feel cramped up here." Hailey complained one night to her mother.
"I know Hailey, but we can't risk others seeing us....the way we are now. It would be easier to go someplace where we're accepted but I don't think vampires are very welcomed in the world." Cheyenne said to her daughter.
A sudden rapping came at their door one night . Cheyenne and her mother looked at each other a little concerned. Cheyenne looked at her daughter and she carefully went to open the door. On her porch there stood two women in what looked to be old Victorian clothing. Cheyenne was confused by this and Hailey was equally confused as she glanced past her mom.
"May I help you ladies?" Cheyenne asked them.
"Actually, we're here to help you." The younger of the two said. "We know how you must feel right now. Scared, confused, lost." The older of the two ladies said. "But we're here to guide you to a place where you'll be accepted." The younger one said. "Call the woman on this card and she'll guide you to your destination." The older one said handing Cheyenne a card.
"Who are you?" Cheyenne asked the women as she looked up from the card to see the two women gone.
"Who was that mom?" Hailey asked as her mother looked at the card. "I don't know, but whoever they were, they're helping send us to where we can feel at home." Cheyenne said as she looked at the card which had the name 'Sarah McMillan S.P.E.A.R' and a phone number below it.
A few blocks away from Cheyenne and Hailey's house, Cassandra and Duchess appeared from a puff of smoke.
"That worked out marvelous, Duchess." Cassandra said to Duchess as they strolled down the street in the dark. "Indeed, I was worried that we wouldn't find another vampire in this town, but by sheer luck we stumbled upon them. It will be most lovely to have more citizens in our land." Duchess said to Cassandra as they continued walking.
"That woman was quite fetching as well, I'm sure others in the community would agree." Cassandra said rubbing her chin. "Well, she certainly had the body, but I'm sure she didn't have the extraordinary mind." Duchess huffed.
"Oh Duchess, don't be so jealous. You're the only one I want to work with closely by my side for work and....other needs." Cassandra said as she held Duchess close to her and caressed her breast. "Oh, mistress." Duchess moaned. "Later though, we still need to look for others who need the guide to our homeland." Cassandra said as she and Duchess disappeared in mist from the street.
