David obviously liked the idea of leaving with a much younger wife. He gave a glance to his new daughters. Terri, now his step-daughter, was talking to Kailey. He wondered how much they remembered of their old lives.

Being younger is nice and all, and David had been getting off on being cuckold but that's different from loosing his family entirely.
